What to Check
Wings and Tail respond to aircraft movement
Verify wings and tail have power. Verify control surfaces move both directions (counter-act direction aircraft is moved).
Verify no damage to mechanical linkages and control arms.
Inspect the control horns and linkages on both wings and the rudder. Verify they are connected to each other and are free to pivot.
Verify trim.
Inspect the elevons and verify the trailing edge is tilted upwards when the aircraft is powered.
Inspect the rudder and verify it is aligned with the rest of the tail.
