The change altitude command is used to change the altitude of an aircraft while it is in a loiter.


How to Use

There are two methods to use the change altitude command:

Method 1: Command with Pause or Go-To

This method allows a change in altitude to be commanded at the same time as a Pause of Go-To command is sent.

Use Pause or Go-To command

When the Pause or Go-To commands are initiated a change altitude slider will appear on the right side of the screen.

Use the slider to set the altitude the aircraft should loiter at.

Send the command with the confirmation slider.

Method 2: Command while in Pause or Go-To

This method allows the pilot to change the altitude after the aircraft has already received a Pause or Go-To command.

While the aircraft is in a loiter the change altitude slider should still be present.

Close the continue mission confirmation slider.

Adjust the altitude slider and a change altitude confirmation slider will appear.

Use the confirmation slider to send the command to the aircraft.
