How to Connect
The CommsBox can be connected to a laptop/tablet via WiFi or Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable provides the most robust and reliable connection, while the WiFi connection provides wireless flexibility.
WiFi
To connect to the CommsBox Via WiFi:
Assemble and power on the CommsBox.
Find the CommsBox WiFi Network.
Enter the CommsBox WiFi password.
The CommsBox password is the serial number twice.
In this example the CommsBox was serial number 0074, so the password is 00740074.
Verify connection.
Ethernet (Hardwired)
To connect to the CommsBox via Ethernet:
Assemble and power on the CommsBox.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the CommsBox.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the Laptop/Tablet.
Verify connection.
Ethernet Adapted for iPad
The Ethernet cable provides the most robust connection of the CommsBox to Fly PHX. For use with an iPad an MFi certified Ethernet adapter is recommended.
The Ethernet + Power Adapter with Lightning by Belkin has been been tested by Sentera with good results.
