The PHX comes with 2 antennas for use with the CommsBox.
Long Range
The long range antenna is intended for use when flying more than 3/4 of a mile away from the CommsBox, but is acceptable to use for any flight condition.
The long range antenna has an effective range of 2+ miles in optimal conditions.
Standard
The standard antenna has an effective range of approximately 3/4 of a mile.
