Survey Location

There are 2 ways to survey the base station location:

Image Added

Self-Survey

This is the default mode of operation for the base station.

After the base station is powered on it will acquire a GPS fix and perform an approximately 120 second sampling period. After the sampling period the base station will have self surveyed its current location and be ready to transmit corrections data.

The self survey location/reference point is accurate to approximately 1.5m. This may not align exactly with truth. For the highest accuracy to ground truth use the known location method below.

Known Location

If the operation location has a known surveyed point, the latitude, longitude, and altitude information of the point can be entered into the base station via the webpage and used as the reference point.

This is useful, as a known survey point gives the highest accuracy in relation to ground truth.
