Camera Power Source
One of the following:
AC power to barrel jack cable
Aircraft with battery.
Laptop
Windows or Mac compatible.
How To Update
Download Firmware Update
Use the link above or the button in Fly PHX to open the 65R firmware update support article.
Power Camera & Boot
Use the provided AC wall adapter or the PHX fuselage & battery to power the camera.
Allow the camera a minute or so to boot.
Connect to Camera
Connect the 65R to a laptop using a USB-C cable.
Open Webpage
Open the webpage hosted by the 65R by using the button in Fly PHX or by entering the following address in the address bar of a web browser:
192.168.143.141
Select Update Firmware
Select Update Firmware from the left hand menu of the camera webpage.
Apply Firmware
Apply the firmware update by dragging the downloaded firmware file into the box on the screen or click to open up a file browser and select the file.
Allow Update to Execute
Once the firmware file uploads to the camera, the update will begin automatically.
Let the update execute.
Complete
Once the update is complete the new version number will be listed at the top of the screen as well as the lower left corner.
Verify the version number matches what is listed on the support site.
Unplug the sensor and power down.
