About

Fly PHX V1.9.0 and above support importing/exporting flight plans from one device to another.

For example a flight can be planned on a Windows PC, then saved, and exported to Fly PHX on iOS.


Required Equipment

Storage Device

One of the following:

  • SD Card

  • USB Drive

iPad Adapter

The adapter that matches the storage device/iPad.

  • Lightning to SD card

  • Lightning to USB-A

  • USB-C to SD card

  • USB-C to USB-A


How to Export

  1. Plan and save flight plan.

  2. Insert storage device into host device.

  3. Navigate to:

    • Windows: documents>Fly PHX>Missions

    • iOS: files app>on my iPad>Fly PHX>Missions

  4. Copy the desired flight plan(s) to the storage device.

How to Import

  1. Insert storage device to host device.

  2. Navigate to the flight plan:

    • Windows: open a file browser and select the storage device.

    • iOS: open the files application and select the storage device

  3. Copy the flight plan from the storage device to:

    • Windows: Documents>Fly PHX>Missions

    • iOS: files application>on my iPad>Fly PHX>Mission

Insert Storage Device

Open Files Application

Navigate To Storage Device

Select Flight Plan and Copy/Move

Navigate To Final Location

Paste Flight Plan

Open In Fly PHX

Select Flight Plan

Plan Will Appear
