About
Remote ID for the PHX is the necessary for compliance with FAA 14 CFR Part 89 guidelines. Learn more about Remote ID.
The PHX remote ID system is built into all new aircraft (SN XXXX and up) and can be retrofitted to nearly all existing PHX. See the Remote ID installation guide for more information about compatibility with your PHX.
To use Remote ID on an equipped PHX the pilot will monitor the Remote ID indicator in Fly PHX.
The Remote ID indicator is an icon built into Fly PHX that displays the status of the Remote ID system. This allows the pilot to easily determine the status of the Remote ID the system before they take off and while they are flying.
The PHX determines the status of the Remote ID system by performing a Pre-Flight Self Test (or PFST) while on the ground, as well as performing continuous monitoring of the system while in flight.
