Identify Serial Number
The serial number is located on the side of the sensor.
Download Appropriate Update
For sensors with a serial number less than 200, download this update: Download
For sensors with a serial number of 200 or higher, download this update: Download
Apply Update to SD
Copy zipped folder into the firmware folder of the D4K.
You should NOT unzip this folder before copying it into firmware
Allow Sensor to Update
Assemble the aircraft and insert the sensor. After that, insert the battery. Leave the camera in the aircraft powered on for 15 minutes. In this time, the camera will reboot several times.
Confirm the Update
In the D4Ks SD card, navigate to the ‘info’ folder. Inside this folder there should be a file labeled 'info.txt'. Confirm the Filesystem version is correct.
