Updating the firmware

Steps:

  • Download the latest Piksi Multi firmware file from Sentera or Swift Navigation

  • Place the PiksiMulti-vX.X.X.bin file onto a thumb drive, ensure it is the only file on that drive

  • Place the thumb drive into the USB slot on the RTK Backpack

  • Install the payload into the PHX

  • Power on the PHX

  • Let the aircraft and Payload boot, then wait 5 minutes for the firmware to be updated

  • Reboot the aircraft

  • Verify the payload is able to obtain a GPS fix (RTK not required)
