What to Check

GPS Fix

Vehicle must be completely assembled, outside, and its GPS using at least 10 satellites.

Interference

Ensure vehicle is away from sources of electromagnetic interference, and has a clear view of the whole sky.


Troubleshooting

Symptom

Solution(s)

No satellites

  • Verify the aircraft is fully assembled. The GPS receiver is located in the left wing.

  • Verify the aircraft is outdoors with a clear view of the sky.

  • Verify there are no objects above or impleading the GPS receiver in the left wing of the aircraft.

Low satellites

  • Verify the aircraft is outdoors with a clear view of the sky.

  • Asses the location of operation for sources of electromagnetic interference. If a source of interference such as large antennas, high voltage powerlines, etc. Move away from the source of interference and try again.
