What to Check

A ready payload will auto-check this item. Perform manual camera checks if installed camera is not ready and GPS is passing, or if extra payload checks are needed (e.g. RTK GPS payload has Integer Fix)

Troubleshooting

Symptom

Solution(s)

Waiting for signal, verify camera.

  • Verify the payload is fully seated into the payload bay.

  • Verify the payload has an SD card installed.

SD Card more than 50% full

  • Flying with an SD card >50% full is not recommended as it may reduce capture rate of the payload. Replace with a new SD card or remove data on the current SD card.

  • The check may be manually over ridden if you wish to fly with an SD card with less than 50% storage available.

No GPS

  • Verify the aircraft is fully assembled, is outdoors, and has a clear view of the sky.

  • Verify the payload is configured correctly for use with the PHX.
