How to Assemble

Preparation

Before assembling the PHX check the following:

• Check the spar joiner for cracks, splinters, or other damage.

• Check the pitot tube for clogs or damage.

• Check the motor and propellers for debris or damage.

Before Installing the payload check the following:

• SD Card – Present, less than 50% full.

• Check lenses for dirt, dust, & smudges.

• Pogo pins are not damaged.

Spar

Install the spar joiner through the fuselage. The direction of the spar joiner does not matter.

Wings

Slide the wing(s) over the spar joiner and press into the fuselage until the wing is fully seated.

Wing Pins

Install the wing pins into the small holes on either side of the fuselage. Ensure they are fully seated such that the top of the pin is touching the fuselage foam.

Payload

No tools are required to install the payload into the PHX. Insert the payload into the fuselage and press down on all four of the mounting post to ensure they are fully snapped into place.

Battery

Install the battery straight down into the fuselage and secure it to the aircraft using all 3 of the Velcro straps.

How to Disassemble

Remove Battery

Always remove the battery before disassembling the rest of the aircraft.

Remove Wing Pins

Remove the wing pins by pulling them straight out from the top of the fuselage.

Remove Wings

Rock the wing(s) back as shown to release the wing locking mechanism the slide the wing(s) off.

Remove Spar Joiner

Pull the spar joiner straight out of the fuselage.

Remove Payload

No tools are required to remove the payload from the PHX. Grab the payload as shown and pull the payload out of the fuselage.
