Accessing Autopilot Logs
About
If the autopilot flight logs are needed there are several methods to access the logs.
SD Card Method
This method is the fastest for obtaining the autopilot logs. The tail of the aircraft is partially removed from the fuselage and the SD card is removed from the autopilot.
Remove The Tail, Locate SD Card, Remove SD Card
Â
Copy Logs
Copy the logs from the SD card onto a computer.
Reinstall SD Card, Reattach Tail
Â
Fly PHX Download Method
This method allows for downloading of the autopilot logs without removing the SD card. The caveat is that this process is very slow.
Power Aircraft & CommsBox
Â
Connect to Fly PHX
Â
Activate Advanced Mode
Rapid tap/click on the Fly Screen icon until the Advanced Mode warning box appears.
The use of advanced mode for autopilot log download is permitted without voiding of the warranty.
